Commercial Area Manager Horticulture EMEA

Tasks
Within our business unit horticulture you will be responsible for all sales and sales related activities of Lumiforte EMEA B.V. for the following areas: Northern, Western and Eastern Europe, CIS, Gulf region, East and South Africa, Oceania and Asia.
In this role you will coach an international commercial team within a commercial organization. You will be fully responsible and accountable for the P&L of the Lumiforte EMEA B.V. entity and the achievement of sales targets. Based on Lumiforte's global strategy, you make an annual commercial plan. You ensure the internal communication of this plan and manage the team mem-bers on the defined KPIs.
Focused on the long-term commercial plan, you prepare reports for the board with elaborated business cases on how to tackle sales in the specific areas. You will work on organizing and managing sales campaigns specific to the different areas.
This is an international position in which you travel abroad with some regularity to visit customers and/or team mem-bers. There is a monthly sales meeting with the entire team. On a weekly basis you will be in contact with all individual team mem-bers, either live or via Teams. You provide sales and account managers with advice to make sales smarter, better and easier. You give guidance on customer support and -satisfaction. You are also closely linked to the organization’s primary process and will have your own customers and external stakeholders where you maintain relationships with.

Position
As Commercial Area Manager Horticulture EMEA, you will be part of the Horticulture sales team and report directly to the Commercial Director Horticulture.
You manage a team of 7 international account managers and consultants. In addition, you are the manager of the area marketer linked to the area.
Profile
The ideal candidate will meet the following characteristics:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a commercial/sales related study.
- Several years of management experience in international, professional horticulture.
- Experience within an international organization.
- Experience in coaching a commercial team within a commercial organization.
- Experience with CRM systems such as "Salesforce" and Microsoft Office is a must.
- Professional knowledge of the Dutch and English language.
- Living in the region of North Brabant or Antwerp or willing to spend at least 3 days at our head office in Baarle-Nassau.
You are a commercially driven manager with a hands-on mentality. You have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. You have strong supervisory and leadership skills. You are able to optimize commercial strength through Commercial Excellence. You think in solutions from an analytical point of view. You have the ability to prepare, execute and control budgets. You also have a thorough knowledge of principles and methods to promote and sell products and services.
